Today, 10.9% or 4.3 million young people across America, are caught in a cycle of poverty, violence, and despair. They are known as “disconnected youth”, young adults age 16-24 who are neither in school, nor employed.

These young people are more than just numbers. They’re talented, intellectual geniuses with dreams, hopes, aspirations, and the capacity for greatness. However, systemic barriers have a way of hindering them from accessing the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

Those barriers exist in many ways, including but not limited to the following:

• lack of access to quality education

• limited social support networks

• systemic barriers to employment

• mental health struggles

• substance abuse challenges

• lack of opportunities for creative expression

We’re igniting a movement to empower and equip the next generation of innovators, creatives, and entrepreneurs. By providing:

1. Mentorship - Connecting young people with industry leaders and community members to guide their career path.

2. Programming - Offering curated curriculum and experiential learning opportunities.

3. Skill Development - providing workshops and training to hone essential skills for the modern workforce.

4. Community - Fostering a supportive network of peers and mentors that encourages growth and collaboration.

Urban 7 Mvmnt is groundbreaking initiative dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty and underachievement in urban communities. We're starting in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a vision to expand to cities like Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Compton, Atlanta, New York, and beyond. Our goal is to create a nationwide movement that empowers young people to unlock their full potential and transform their lives.
